Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is seeking an Aerospace Development Assembly and Test Technician for a 2nd shift in Loves Park, IL.

You will assemble and test development hardware, support data acquisition and analysis, and work with hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems in a fast-paced engineering environment. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, troubleshooting and collaboration with engineering; prior aerospace fuel system experience is preferred, with potential for growth, safety leadership and

Qualifications

• Experience performing assembly and testing of aerospace fuel system components is preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read moderately complex schematics/drawings.
• Familiarity with data acquisition and analysis methods.
• Root cause analysis basics with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and systems with increasing complexity.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex issues in collaboration with engineering.
• Conduct tests on components and systems and document results.
• Suggest process improvements and contribute to documentation.
• Guide entry-level technicians on basic tasks and safety.
