Job summary

DZYNE Technologies LLC in Irvine, CA is seeking a Design Quality Engineer to ensure drawing compliance and drive process improvements on-site. You will review mechanical and electrical drawings for AS9100 quality standards and support ECOs throughout product releases.

Key duties include enforcing GD&T, IPC‑A‑610/WHMA‑A‑620, verifying PCB and wiring layouts, and building robust QA checklists. Expect collaboration across engineering and manufacturing, with up to 5% travel and eligibility to work

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in quality engineering, design review, or manufacturing within aerospace/UAV.
• Proficient with GD&T and design review for mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Experience enforcing quality standards and ECO processes.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical blueprints for GD&T compliance.
• Verify electrical layouts for IPC/WHMA standards.
• Act as final gate for ECOs and change control.
• Develop and maintain drawing review checklists and SOPs.
• Assist in identifying and containing defects on the production line.
