Job summary

ITT Aerospace Controls offers a best-in-class internship experience designed to immerse students in the aerospace industry. As a Manufacturing & Test Engineer Intern, you’ll gain hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge technologies and real‑world projects contributing to fluid motion control and environmental control system solutions used in aerospace applications.

Interns work closely with experienced engineers, gaining insights into engineering processes, product development, and problem‑solving

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field and in good standing.
  • Junior and Senior students are preferred.
  • Knowledge/experience in CAD design, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident due to export regulations.
  • 40 hours per week (12 week internship)

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, analysis, and testing for products such as composites, metals, elastomerics, electric heaters, acoustics, and aerodynamics.
  • Documentation of results and procedures for engineering projects.
  • Support cross-functional teams with data and reporting.
  • Assist in development and validation of test plans and results.
