Job summary

Ilocatum in Northampton, MA is seeking a Supply Chain Demand Manager to own the demand plan, turning data into decisions that drive growth, inventory health, and customer service. Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or production planning.
• Hands-on S&OP or IBP experience, leading or actively contributing.
• Proven record of improving forecast accuracy and turning complex data into clear recommendations.
• Experience in an ERP/MRP environment with demand or supply chain planning systems.
• Advanced Excel plus reporting or visualization tools.
• Strong grasp of inventory management, safety stock, and capacity planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Confident presenting to senior leadership.
• Onsite in Northampton, MA.

Responsibilities

• Build and own statistical and consensus forecasts across products, customers, channels, and regions.
• Lead demand planning within S&OP/IBP, aligning Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations on one plan.
• Track and improve forecast accuracy, MAPE, and bias, and fix root causes of variance.
• Shape inventory strategy, safety stock, and service levels.
• Plan demand for new products, transitions, and phase-outs.
• Build scenarios and present risks, opportunities, and recommendations to leadership.
• Modernize planning with advanced analytics, automation, and AI tools.
