Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a SIOP/Demand Planner to drive corporate-wide SIOP implementation and manage demand planning with cross-functional teams. You will review forecasts, identify variances, and present solutions for approval to minimize disruptions in operations and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• 2–5 years in Demand Planning or Supply Chain.
• Understanding of forecasting methods and its financial/operational impacts.
• Experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate monthly demand into weekly buckets and reconcile rolling 5 quarters of forecast.
• Collaborate with Master Scheduler to align weekly supply with demand.
• Analyze key customer accounts to identify trends, risks and opportunities for stakeholders.
• Maintain SIOP metrics and RAILs; support forecast accuracy.
• Maintain forecast/consumption in Oracle and reconcile to actual demand.
• Support product transitions with BD and PLM to minimize financial impact.
• Facilitate regular SIOP meetings to ensure successful implementation.
