Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a Demand Planner II to shape inputs from Program Management and Business Development into a defensible, time-phased demand plan. You will manage a rolling 0-12 month horizon and participate in the SIOP cycle, driving capacity, capital, and hiring decisions with Finance and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum of three years in demand planning, forecasting, SIOP or related role.
• ERP experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar systems and advanced Excel.
• MRP logic understanding and planning parameter knowledge.
• Ability to work with both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the demand plan for assigned programs across horizons.
• Create a rolling 0-12 month demand profile for build/buy decisions.
• Align demand with supply, risks, and opportunities for SIOP.
• Gather inputs from IPTs, PM, Business Development, and Finance.
• Translate milestones into time-phased unit and rate demand.
• Publish forecast accuracy and bias by program and aggregate.
• Lead monthly SIOP demand review for assigned programs.
• Support short-term execution to address variances.
• Build dashboards and reports on demand health and risks.
• Maintain logs for plan movements and decisions.
• Develop upward/downward scenarios for capacity and staffing decisions.
