Job summary

Sonaca North America seeks a Delivery Coordinator to ensure on-time product delivery and to keep internal teams informed of delivery status. You will coordinate orders through manufacturing, respond to inquiries, and work with operations, planning, and quality to resolve issues promptly.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, Lean process improvements, and clear communication with the CSR team. A manufacturing background with strong MS Office skills is needed.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing environment and knowledge of production control functions.
• Ability to learn each product line’s capabilities and limitations.
• Experience with Lean principles and lead-times in a manufacturing setting.
• Interpretation of information furnished orally, written, or diagram form.
• Strong time management and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct internal and external customer orders through manufacturing.
• Respond to delivery or product queries, communicating with plant operations, shipping, and quality.
• Engage daily with the Delivery Assurance Manager to identify risks and status.
• Identify obstacles early and escalate when needed to keep schedules on track.
• Assist in improving process flows to increase efficiency and lower costs.
• Maintain delivery schedules and provide clear status updates to customers.
• Work with site operations to ensure stable workflow, priorities, and stock management.
• Schedule production at sites using master schedulers and capacity limits.
• Participate in cross-functional delivery clinics to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Support the updating of coverage files, LOBs, and related performance files.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Associate’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering or materials management

Minimum 4 years’ customer service experience in aerospace manufacturing or related industry

High school diploma or equivalency with 6 years’ experience in aerospace manufacturing

Strong communication and organizational skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
