Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead customer requirements, schedules, and resources to ensure on-time delivery of defense and aerospace programs. You will act as the technical liaison, align cross-functional inputs, and drive program milestones to success.

The role emphasizes owning budgets, schedules, and program health while serving as the primary customer point of contact and supporting capture efforts with cost and schedule inputs.

Qualifications

• Must have 8+ years of program management or aerospace leadership experience.
• Ability to work under ITAR/EAR compliance requirements.
• Proven track record leading teams to field integrated products in defense/aerospace.
• Strong adaptive, learning, and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience with DoD contracts and government programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive program progress from market need to sustainment and obsolescence.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Define program objectives and align resources to execute.
• Own budget, schedule, KR performance and program health reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs and re-baseline as needed.
• Assess risks/opportunities and drive mitigations.
• Serve as the primary customer POC and manage contract scope and deliverables.
• Support business development with programmatic inputs including cost and schedule.
