Job summary

Ursa Major is recruiting a Senior Program Manager in Colorado to drive customer requirements, schedules, resources, and overall program progress. You will own on‑time delivery, act as a technical liaison, and coordinate inputs across teams to meet milestones.

The role emphasizes customer relationship management, contract scope control, and preparation of deliverables. A PM leader with DoD/aerospace experience will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years’ experience in program management or aerospace leadership.
• Must be able to work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Proven program management experience in defense/aerospace domains.
• Experience leading a team to field integrated products.

Responsibilities

• Drives program progress from market need to sustainment and obsolescence.
• Manages customer relationships and ensures satisfaction.
• Defines objectives and aligns resources to execute.
• Owns budget, schedule, and KR performance; prepares program reviews.
• Owns program schedule and baselines with cross‑company inputs.
• Assesses risks/opportunities and drives mitigations.
• Leads contract deliverables and regular customer check‑ins.
• Supports BD and capture with programmatic inputs including cost and schedule.
