ReLogic Research in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a Cost Estimator to translate engineering inputs into winning quotes. You will develop accurate cost estimates for CNC aerospace components and engineering services, build pricing models, and manage RFQ processes from receipt through submission.

Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing to ensure cost accuracy, adherence to DCAA/AS9100D requirements, and competitive proposals for defense customers.

Competenze

• 3+ years experience in cost estimating, quoting, or pricing in manufacturing/technical environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost model development
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing RFQ processes and customer quotes
• Familiarity with DCAA compliance and cost accounting standards for defense contracts
• Knowledge of FAR cost principles and cost volume preparation

Mansioni

• Develop accurate cost estimates for CNC machined aerospace components and engineering services for RFQs
• Collaborate with engineering/manufacturing to gather inputs and build cost models
• Build and maintain pricing models, rate structures, and templates
• Manage RFQ process from receipt to quote submission
• Track quote activity, win/loss data, and pricing trends
• Coordinate with purchasing on material costs and supplier quotes
• Support proposal development for defense contracts in line with government cost proposal requirements
