Job summary

Acutec-Precision-Aerospace, Inc. seeks a deburring technician to prepare high tolerance aviation parts. You will read blueprints, follow routers, and remove burrs with hand and power tools to meet specified tolerances and customer requirements.

You will work independently or with supervision, perform housekeeping, and report issues. The role emphasizes attention to detail, accuracy, and safe handling of parts in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form.
• Ability to perform the duties of the job applying basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read blue prints to find break edges, surface finishes, and tolerances
• Understanding of the edge break, chamfer, radius, and fillet print requirements

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints and follow routers, corrective actions and other forms of written, verbal, and visual instruction.
• Use various hand and power tools to remove burrs, tool marks, and other visual defects from metal work pieces.
• Scrutinize every facet of job and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to Supervisor.
• Perform housekeeping chores as department requirements dictate.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
