Job summary

AMI Precision Machining is seeking a Deburr Technician to finish tight-tolerance aerospace components at our Pomona facility. You will remove burrs, break and blend edges, finish surfaces, and inspect parts against blueprints and specifications.

Hands-on experience with deburring, grinding, polishing, or other precision finishing processes is preferred. Reading basic blueprints is required, with strong attention to small tolerances and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical aerospace training is a plus.
• Experience in deburring or similar manufacturing processes preferred.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills and a team-focused mindset.
• Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Systems preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform deburring operations on aerospace components using hand tools and machinery.
• Inspect parts for quality and conformity with specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to address issues.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate production records.
