Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, CT is seeking an intern/co‑op student to support the Data Recording Operations team in setting up test facilities and instrumentation for engine testing. You will gain hands-on experience with data acquisition systems and work with cross‑functional engineering groups.

The role emphasizes practical measurement, analysis, and collaborative problem solving with a focus on aerospace testing environments.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Computer, or Electrical Engineering, or a STEM Major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Fluent in English (verbal/written)

Responsibilities

• Set up of test facilities to support engine testing.
• Set up of instrumentation measurement systems to support engine testing.
• Consult and coordinate with engineering and customer groups to establish requirements.
• Troubleshooting and calibration of devices in the test facility or lab, and operation of data acquisition systems during validation testing.
