Job summary

Clarendon Specialty Fasteners is seeking an organized Customer Quality Assurance (CQA) to manage customer quality activity at our Irvine operation. You'll be the link between our customers and our internal teams, logging, routing, following up, and closing RMAs, NCRs, corrective actions, scorecards, and portal requests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in quality, customer service, administration, or a related role, ideally in aerospace, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Hands-on experience with customer RMAs, NCRs, corrective actions, customer portals, or quality documentation.
• Familiarity with quality systems such as AS9120, AS9100, or ISO 9001
• A track record of following issues through to closure across several departments, and knowing when to escalate
• Clear, professional writing and speaking with customers and internal teams
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook, and comfort working in ERP systems and electronic quality records
• The ability to manage many requests at once, work independently, and support a cross-functional team

Responsibilities

• Manage customer RMAs from start to finish, including tracking, documentation, status updates, and closure.
• Log customer NCRs, complaints, and CARs, send them to the right people, and follow up so corrective actions go back to customers on time.
• Keep customer scorecards up to date and flag negative trends to Quality leadership early.
• Manage customer quality portals by submitting corrective actions, certifications, questionnaires, and requested documents.
• Complete customer quality questionnaires and surveys, gathering input from teams across the business.
• Help prepare for customer audits by collecting documentation and tracking follow-up actions.
• Prepare customer quality KPIs and reports, including RMAs, NCRs, and on-time delivery.
• Support MRB activities, Management Reviews, and improvements to how we track and respond to customer requests.
• Keep customer quality records complete, accurate, and ready for audit under our AS9100/AS9120 QMS.
