Job summary

Stellant Systems, Inc. is seeking a Component Engineer to manage components and hardware throughout their lifecycle. You will work with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure design conformance, performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include selecting components, maintaining specs, conducting qualifications, and driving解决 root-cause analyses. Strong documentation skills and ability to read drawings are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of engineering/manufacturing experience in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with aerospace/electrical standards for components and hardware.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and engineering docs.

Responsibilities

• Select, evaluate, and approve components and materials for programs.
• Maintain component specs, vendor lists, and technical docs including BOM.
• Perform component qualification, validation, and assessments.
• Lead root-cause investigations and address issues with suppliers.
• Support engineering changes and lifecycle management, incl. PCNs/GIDEP.
• Work with Manufacturing and Quality to resolve production issues.
• Ensure compliance with standards and maintain engineering records.
