Job summary

Qualifications

• At least six years of quality engineering experience, preferably in an aerospace environment.
• Experience with components used in space applications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve quality of operational processes and outputs through design of quality standards and control systems.
• Collaborate with operations managers to implement quality controls and drive improvements.
• Perform root cause analyses and investigations across supplier, production, and test phases to reduce scrap and rework.
• Lead cost-of-poor-quality initiatives and implement corrective actions to improve profitability.
• Conduct build quality reviews to ensure design intent and manufacturability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean production on the shop floor.
• Serve as the primary interface with customers on quality-related matters and ensure timely resolution of concerns.
• Coordinate quality audits and compliance with internal standards and IPC J-STD requirements.
• Generate KPI and RCCA reports to drive data-driven quality improvements.
