Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a Level One Painter to perform coating with water and solvent reducible primers on diverse substrates using HVLP equipment. Training completes after 30–60 days for throughput and quality, with cross-training in racking, turning and sanding.

The role emphasizes adhering to safety directives, proper PPE use, and potential involvement with Hazardous Waste procedures while supporting production continuity.

Qualifications

• Excellent hand/eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Good color vision and vision generally, with or without correction.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with PPE usage such as goggles, masks, gloves and safety eyewear.

Responsabilités

• Review work instructions for paint type, tolerance and thickness.
• Load, adjust, and maintain HVLP coating equipment (remote pressure, siphon, gravity fed).
• Apply organic finishes to substrates and parts configurations.
• Maintain safety practices and PPE; comply with directives.
• Handle hazardous waste collection, storage, and disposal procedures.
