Job summary

Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) in Placentia, California, is seeking an experienced CNC Vertical Machinist for aerospace manufacturing. The role involves setting up and operating 3- and 4-axis vertical milling machines to produce precision components in line with engineering drawings.

You will read blueprints, inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, adjust tooling, and maintain quality while supporting production schedules.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of CNC machining experience required.
• Strong vertical CNC milling experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3- and 4-axis vertical CNC milling machines.
• Review production schedules and prepare machines for orders.
• Adjust tooling and machine settings per CNC programs.
• Manufacture components to specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers and calipers.
• Perform routine lubrication, cleaning and inspections.
• Maintain quality while meeting production targets.
