Job summary

DRT Holdings is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Lathe/HMC/VMC to operate and set up CNC Milling Machines, including Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers. The role covers tool changes, offsets, and first-piece inspections to ensure aerospace components meet strict tolerances.

Shift options include 2nd and 3rd, with overtime potential and comprehensive benefits. You will read blueprints, apply GD&T, and verify part quality through in-process measurement techniques.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines, including HMCs and VMCs.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Produce aerospace components to tight tolerances and perform in-process inspections.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling Machines, HMCs, and VMCs.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, work offsets, and first-piece inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Manufacture precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.
• Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators.
