Job summary

ATI in Cudahy, WI is seeking an experienced N/C Turning Equipment Operator (CNC/Water Jet) on weekend nights (Fri, Sat, Sun, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM). Training on 1st shift for 60–90 days, then transition to 36-hour weekend schedule paid for 40. Responsible for loading forged components, operating water jet equipment, and ensuring quality per specs.

Position requires setup on lathes, reading blueprints, GD&T, and strong measurement skills. Onsite, full-time with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

Setup experience on horizontal or vertical lathes.
Ability to read instructions and perform simple measurements.
Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate industrial water jet cutting equipment to cut forged components.
Follow drawings and specifications to ensure parts are processed correctly.
Monitor machine operation and adjust for quality and tolerances.
Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and gauges to verify setup.
Inspect completed work for conformance with specs.
Follow safety procedures around high-pressure equipment and large components.
Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
