Cambridge Specialty Company in Berlin, Connecticut, is seeking an experienced CNC lathe programmer for aerospace parts. You will program turning machines, develop machining processes, and create solid models, NC programs, setup sheets, and documentation for each step.

Proficiency with SolidWorks and CAMWorks is a plus, and candidates with hands-on operator experience in aerospace are highly desirable. The role reports to the Director of Quality and offers a competitive salary commensurate with

Hands-on CNC lathe programming experience for aerospace work.
Strong grasp of aerospace machining standards and best practices.
Previous CNC Operator experience is highly desirable.
Growth mindset and willingness to cross-train in other business areas.

Mansioni

Program CNC turning machines for aerospace components.
Build machining processes for simpler parts; collaborate closely on complex geometries.
Create solid models, NC programs, setup sheets, and operation documentation for each step.
Design fixtures as needed and provide clear operation sheets for tooling support.
Work hands-on with operators and setup personnel during product development and initial runs.
Select cutting tools (preferably from our library) while exploring innovative tooling solutions.
Use SolidWorks for modeling and CAMWorks for integrated NC programming.
