Cambridge Specialty Company is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for aerospace milling. You will program 3-, 4-, and 3+2-axis mills, develop processes for simple parts, and co-create strategies for complex geometries.

You’ll produce NC code, setup sheets, and fixture designs while collaborating on initial production runs. You will use SolidWorks with CAMWorks (Mastercam welcome) and apply GD&T, DFM, and aerospace standards to ensure precise, cost-effective parts.

Formación

• GD&T and DFM understanding for aerospace parts.
• Proficiency in G-code/M-code for CNC milling.
• Experience with CNC machine setup and changeover.
• Strong tooling selection and fixture design capabilities.
• Knowledge of aerospace machining standards and best practices.
• SolidWorks and CAMWorks proficiency; Mastercam welcomed.

Responsabilidades

• Program CNC mills across 3-, 4-, and 3+2-axis configurations.
• Own machining process development for simple aerospace parts and co-develop strategies for complex geometries.
• Create solid models, NC code, setup sheets, and operation documentation.
• Design machining fixtures and provide operation sheets for tooling department.
• Collaborate with CNC operators during development and initial production runs.
• Select cutting tools from the tool library and explore innovative options.
• Use SolidWorks with CAMWorks; Mastercam experience welcomed.
