Job summary

Regal Rexnord Aerospace & Defense is seeking a CNC machinist for the 3rd shift (10pm–6am) in Downers Grove, IL. You will interpret setup sheets, load programs, and operate CNC mills and lathes to tight tolerances.

Earn $24.00–$33.00 per hour based on experience, plus a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Day-one benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret English blueprints and work instructions.
• Experience on two of: CNC lathe, CNC mill, or resistance spot welder.
• External candidates must pass a machinist test.

Responsibilities

• Interpret setup sheets, blueprints, setup cards, and machine status boards.
• Machine, install, or re-cut chuck jaws and load tooling.
• Perform full CNC setups and operate multiple CNC controls.
• Inspect own work to print and document results; support others.
• Enter data into ERP and collaborate with supervisors and teams.
