Job summary

Regal Rexnord is hiring for a precision grinder in Downers Grove, IL. The role involves setting up and operating CNC or manual grinders, reading blueprints, and computing feeds, speeds, and times to achieve a flawless finish.

You will train on first shift initially, then work 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:00 pm) with a $2/hour premium and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Requires basic math, blueprints literacy, and up to 50 lb lifting capability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up and operating precision grinding machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions in English.
• Comfort with basic shop math used in calculations.

Responsibilities

• Review process sheets and tooling instructions and select the right machine.
• Dial in tooling, compute feeds, speeds, and cycle times.
• Set up and run CNC or manual grinders for OD/ID, boring and facing operations.
• Enter production data into ERP and document thoroughly.
• Verify dimensions with gauges and inspect own output.
