Job summary

PCC Fasteners, based in Irvine, CA, seeks a meticulous Screw Machine Operator to set up and run one or more spindle lathes, ensuring parts meet blueprint specs. You will operate, adjust, and monitor machinery, read gauges, and support quality control in a fast-paced aerospace-focused environment.

The role requires HS diploma or GED, familiar with blueprints and metalworking tools, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and tolerances in English.
• Familiar with machinist tools (micrometers, verniers, indicators, scales, dial bore gage).
• Must be a team player, flexible, self-directed and capable of problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and determine machine settings for each operation.
• Monitor and adjust speed, feed rates, and tooling to meet specs.
• Label finished parts and keep production records accurate.
• Perform regular maintenance and tool sharpening as required.
• Record data on Process Control Sheets and ensure safe operation.
