Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Level 1 CNC Operator for 1st shift (6am–2:30pm) in Los Angeles. You will run mills and lathes with established setups, perform basic offsets, read drawings, and support shop operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years CNC experience and familiarity with Haas or Fanuc controls. The role offers overtime eligibility and a path for growth within a reliable aerospace-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years CNC experience required.
• Familiarity with Haas, Fanuc or similar controls.
• Basic reading of drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, or mill-turn machines with pre-set tooling.
• Load and verify CNC programs; make basic offset adjustments.
• Perform simple tooling setup and machine operation.
• Read and interpret drawings and GD&T.
• Take in-process measurements with calipers and micrometers.
• Monitor tool wear and report issues.
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Keep workstations clean and organized.
• Report machining, tooling, or program issues.
• Operate basic conventional machines for simple tasks.
