Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a motivated CNC Programming Intern for a 12-week stint in Stuart, Florida. You will work with engineers, machinists, and programmers to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs for precision aerospace components.

The internship runs late May 2027, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, onsite at our Stuart facility. You’ll gain hands-on experience in program development, simulation, and shop-floor testing while learning best practices in a

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating and modifying CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing cycle times and tool efficiency.
Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure programming accuracy.
Conduct CNC program verification through simulation and shop floor testing.
Collaborate with machinists and engineers to refine machining processes.
Document best practices and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Participate in troubleshooting machining and programming challenges.
Maintain organized records of CNC programs, tool paths, and process updates.
Provide programming solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve manufacturing processes.
