Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Stuart, Florida invites a motivated CNC Programming Intern to join our team for a 12-week program starting late May 2027. You\u2019ll work with engineers, machinists, and programmers to learn program development, optimization, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing setting.

The role offers hands-on experience creating and modifying CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, analyzing cycle times, reviewing drawings, and supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and modifying CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
• Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing cycle times and tool efficiency.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure programming accuracy.
• Conduct CNC program verification through simulation and shop floor testing.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to refine machining processes.
• Document best practices and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Participate in troubleshooting machining and programming challenges.
• Maintain organized records of CNC programs, tool paths, and process updates.
• Provide programming solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve manufacturing processes.
