Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking motivated engineering interns for a 12‑week paid program in Stuart, FL, starting late May 2027. The internship runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM onsite, in multiple departments including Overhaul, Quality, and LM2500. Relocation, housing, and transportation support are not provided.

Currently pursuing an Engineering, Manufacturing, or related degree, you must be eligible to work in the U.S. full‑time and able to meet ITAR/EAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to meet ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineers, technical leads, and shop floor personnel to gain hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Support projects and tasks that advance continuous improvement across the facility.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Quality, Safety, and Operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Opportunity:

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to join our team. This paid internship will be a 12-week experience starting late May 2027.

We are looking for multiple engineering interns to help support our different departments including Overhaul, Quality, TCF, LM2500, and more!

Location:

Stuart, Florida – Onsite. Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

This internship does not include relocation assistance, housing accommodations, or transportation support. Interns must secure their own reliable housing and transportation for the duration of the program.

Responsibilities:

• The intern will work closely with engineers, technical leads, and shop floor personnel to gain hands‑on experience within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Support various projects and tasks which further the development and implementation of continuous improvement in all areas of the facility.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Quality, Safety, and Operations.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full‑time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CAD or NX skills is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently, as well as perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with requirements for aerospace component manufacturing that includes having knowledge of aerospace fabrications, machining, laser technology, welding, coatings, and heat treatment is also preferred, but not required.
• Self‑motivated with a positive attitude, resourcefulness, and adaptability.

Working Conditions:

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, and walk.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
