Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Stuart, FL is seeking a Machinist to perform all aspects of machining processes for components. The role is onsite, Monday to Thursday, 5 AM to 3 PM, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of related experience.

You will operate manual or CNC equipment, adjust tools, load programs, and inspect parts to ensure accuracy. Strong math and communication skills are valued, along with adherence to safety and ITAR/EAR regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with one year of related experience or equivalent training.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Manual or CNC equipment to produce components per methods and process sheets.
• Change, set, and adjust precision tools as required.
• Load and delete programs in the computer.
• Learn the machinability of metals.
• Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude.
• Check parts using gauges or fixtures to ensure dimensions.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report issues.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Follow all safety rules and precautions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
