Job summary

Jobot is seeking a CNC Programmer/Manufacturing Engineer for a leading aerospace manufacturer in Parsippany, NJ. You will plan, develop, and implement production methods, create work instructions, and support tooling and fixtures for machining, assembly, and overhaul projects.

The role requires a BS in engineering and 2–5 years in manufacturing engineering, with CAD/GD&T familiarity (Creo), MasterCam experience, and knowledge of Lean manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering with 2–5 years in manufacturing engineering.
• Familiar with Creo or equivalent CAD and GD&T drawing standards.
• Lean Manufacturing techniques experience.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with technicians and machinists.
• Ability to interact with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement production methods and cell setup for all products.
• Coordinate acquisition of equipment and tooling.
• Develop production standards and improve manufacturability.
• CNC programming of multi-axis centers (3–5 axis) and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and test failures.
• Review drawings for manufacturability and issue ECOs as needed.
• Witness and evaluate acceptance tests to verify performance.
