Polymer Concepts Technologies PBY, Inc. KRS Division dba Kaydon Ring & Seal is seeking a CNC Programmer to develop, test and adjust CNC programs for precision aerospace parts.

You will work closely with engineers, machinists and quality teams to improve processes while maintaining and increasing efficiencies. You will read blueprints, model cutting paths, perform quality tests, and train staff to operate CNC machines.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred, with 3+ years related experience
• U.S. Person required due to ITAR compliance
• Strong knowledge of lathes, mills, grinders and modern machining
• Experience with CAD/CAM systems; SPC experience; CNC controls and programming

Responsabilidades

• Read technical drawings to program and set up CNC machines
• Model cutting paths with software and program machines accordingly
• Conduct quality assurance tests to ensure conformance to specs
• Adjust cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
• Assess tools required and plan machining processes
• Troubleshoot machines and resolve issues as they arise
• Train employees to operate CNC machines and programs
• Create detail drawings and request parts fabrication by machine shops
• Develop tooling designs and CNC programs for unique processes
• Suggest workflow improvements to reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance
