Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an experienced CNC Program Engineer III to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for aerospace fasteners and precision components. You will lead tooling design, support new equipment, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across production teams.

You will validate processes, improve safety, quality, and cycle times, and mentor junior programmers while collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
• Experience with multi-axis machining and complex tooling.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprints.
• Proven ability to lead process improvements and cost reductions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for multi-axis machines.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and specialized jigs.
• Validate new programs through first-article and simulations.
• Lead or support installation of new CNC equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production.
• Prepare process documents and setup instructions.
