Job summary

Quality Controlled Manufacturing, Inc. seeks an experienced CNC Programmer focused on precision aerospace components using lathe and mill machines. You will write and optimize programs, post G-code, and oversee first articles through production.

You will develop tooling, fixtures, and setup documentation, collaborating with engineers to implement efficient, high-quality machining processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• 2+ years of CNC programming experience.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
• Experience with high-precision, multi-axis machines.
• Proven ability to optimize and manually edit G-code.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate multi-axis machines (2-axis, 3-axis, 5-axis, mill/turn).
• Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam or similar CAM software.
• Post and manually edit G-code to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Design and develop custom tooling and fixturing solutions.
• Create clear and accurate setup documentation.
• Incorporate machine simulations and manage machine definitions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to transition parts from first article to production.
• Apply strong understanding of GD&T and tight tolerance requirements.
