Job summary

Ashton North LLC seeks a hands-on Preventative Maintenance Technician to support a precision CNC manufacturing environment. You will perform scheduled PM on CNC machine tools and related equipment to maximize uptime, reliability, and machine life.

You'll work closely with production to identify potential issues before downtime, complete routine maintenance, and help keep a high-precision operation running safely and efficiently. A high school diploma and technical maintenance training preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
Experience performing preventive maintenance in a CNC machining or industrial setting.
Ability to read equipment manuals and PM procedures.
Experience with coolant, lubrication, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, and machining centers.
Inspect, lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace machine components as required.
Maintain lubrication, coolant, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Identify abnormal machine conditions and perform basic troubleshooting.
Coordinate repairs with vendors as needed and maintain maintenance logs.
Schedule maintenance with production to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
