Job summary

Barnes Group Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11:30pm) in Connecticut. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance on aerospace and related facility equipment, with CMMS documentation and strict safety compliance.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot CNCs, PLCs, HMI, and VFDs. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Log work orders details, time spent, and parts used in CMMS.
• Advocate Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
• Comply with OSHA, RCRA, SPCC rules and training.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
