Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Auburn, CA is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain aerospace-grade machinery. You will run 3- and 4-axis CNC mills and grinders, read blueprints, and ensure quality across production runs.

The role requires 3+ years in a machine shop, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow precise specifications. This position offers professional growth and a standard daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a machine shop.
• Experience with 3- or 4-axis CNC mills and/or grinding preferred.
• Ability to interpret specifications and operating principles of machinery.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Set up, adjust and operate CNC mills, grinders, heat press and related tools.
• Make manual adjustments to controls to optimize performance and ensure product quality.
• Support CBS initiatives including 5S, KPIs, Standard Work and problem solving.
• Meet lead times to support customer needs.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment in the assigned area.
• Manage consumables for machines.
• Follow OSHA safety policies.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervision.
