Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking a CNC Machinist (Mills or Lathes) for the first shift. You will set up and operate CNC equipment, read blueprints, verify materials, and ensure product quality to meet specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of aerospace CNC machining, with experience on 3-4 axis lathes and 4-5 axis mills, plus familiarity with Okuma, Harding, Mazak, Fadal, or Toyoda controls. Some overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience on 3-4 axis CNC Lathe; Okuma and Harding Lathe experience preferred.
• Experience on 4-5 axis CNC Mills; Mazak, Fadal or Toyoda experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inspection tools and GDT; safety procedures and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to work orders and blueprints.
• Validate materials, measure dimensions with precision instruments.
• Troubleshoot tool wear and machine issues; document actions taken.
• Maintain continuity across shifts and keep accurate records.
• Assist with quality control and ensure on-time delivery where possible.
