Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support process development, quoting, and production within a complex CNC machining environment in Winsted, CT. You will lead manufacturing method decisions, develop and document CNC processes using MasterCam or Siemens NX, and collaborate closely with machinists and QA teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years in precision manufacturing, with strong GD&T and CAD familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in CNC machining or complex precision manufacturing; airfoil experience required.
• Proficiency with MasterCam or Siemens NX for programming and process development.
• Strong GD&T, drawings, and machining principles; experience with quoting and process planning.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or CadKey.

Responsibilities

• Determine manufacturing methods, sequences, tooling, and raw materials for precision‑machined components.
• Prepare detailed quotes for complex parts, including time studies and cost analysis.
• Provide process engineering support to production with detailed process documentation.
• Apply time standards to machining operations and input routing data into ERP/database.
