Job summary

Applied Aerospace & Defense in Connecticut seeks a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to own engineering ownership of manufacturing process planning, create CAD models, and apply GD&T to produce aerospace components. Qualifications

• Bachelors in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience reading drawings and applying GD&T principles.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/process engineering, aerospace preferred.
• Experience with milling/turning/grinding and NX CAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the manufacturing process plans for aerospace components.
• Create CAD models and operation sheets with GD&T using NX.
• Support CNC machinists, inspectors and QA through troubleshooting.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap.
