Job summary

RTCA in Washington state seeks a CNC Machinist I-III to set up and run Mill/Lathe/Swiss on multi-axis machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet specs. You will work onsite at Fife or Sumner and support lean manufacturing initiatives.

As you grow, you’ll mentor less experienced machinists, collaborate with Engineering and Quality, and help optimize tooling and processes while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up CNC mills/lathe/swiss on 3-5 axis equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Use precision tools like micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC setups and run programs across multiple machines.
• Read blueprints and setup sheets; verify part conformance.
• Collaborate with Engineering on tooling and fixtures; drive process improvements.
• Mentor less experienced machinists; maintain safe, clean workspace.
