Job summary

RTCA is a precision aerospace and defense manufacturer seeking a CNC Machinist I-III to produce precision components. You will perform machine setups, tool selection, program loading, and ensure parts meet engineering and quality specs.

Collaboration with Quality and Engineering is essential to drive efficiency. Candidates should have aerospace/defense experience, multi-axis machining, and familiarity with CNC controls and CAM software.

Qualifications

Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing.
Experience with multi-axis machining equipment (4/5-axis).
Familiarity with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens).
Experience with CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, or ESPRIT.
Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards and in-process inspection techniques.
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Basic CNC programming or G-code editing experience.
Experience mentoring or training operators or machinists.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production tracking tools.

Responsibilities

Operate and set up multiple CNC machines onsite at our WA location.
Read blueprints, setup sheets, travelers, engineering drawings and specifications.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify part conformance and document quality.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to meet production goals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
