RESEARCH METAL INDUSTRIES INC. is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision aluminum components in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Experience machining aluminum components.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintain close tolerances.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code.

Responsibilities

• Perform setups on CNC lathes and mills.
• Operate CNC machines throughout production runs.
• Load tooling, fixtures, and work offsets.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor part quality and adjust offsets as needed.
• Work with existing CNC programs.
• Maintain production efficiency while meeting quality standards.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
