Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience machining aluminum components.
• Working knowledge of Mastercam preferred (programs exist; programming not required).
• Read blueprints and maintain close tolerances.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools.
• G-code and M-code programming knowledge.
• GD&T interpretation for tight tolerances.
• Basic math for measurements and machine settings.
• Experience with CNC quality inspection processes.
• English reading/writing/speaking at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Perform setups on CNC lathes and mills.
• Operate CNC machines during production runs.
• Load tooling, fixtures, and work offsets.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Verify dimensions with precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor part quality and adjust tool wear offsets.
• Work with existing CNC programs.
• Maintain production efficiency while meeting quality standards.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and lean practices.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety.
