Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank seeks a CNC Lathe Machinist to produce machined parts by setting up and operating CNC lathes, while upholding strict quality and safety standards.

You will read blueprints, validate materials, and document procedures to ensure precision. Candidates should have 2+ years of aerospace machining experience, GD&T knowledge, and strong attention to detail for reliable production across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience machining with CNC Lathe, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Knowledge of inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gages); understanding GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Understand work orders, blueprints, manufacturing orders, and machining parameters.
• Validate material used.
• Maintain specifications; troubleshoot, detect malfunctions and take appropriate actions.
• Know when to replace worn tools.
• Measure dimensions of finished parts to ensure conformance.
• Document and communicate actions across shifts.
