Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist II for its Mobile, Alabama facility to fabricate high-tolerance aerospace components for A220/A320 programs. You will operate multi-axis CNC mills, lathes, and grinders with minimal supervision, ensuring precision and quality.

The role requires extensive knowledge of CAM/CNC tooling, GD&T, and blueprint interpretation, with strong collaboration across Engineering and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Formal technical, professional, or vocational training in machining is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program complex 3- and 5-axis CNC mills, multi-axis lathes, and grinders.
• Read and edit G-code at CNC controllers or via CAM software.
• Interpret GD&T and blueprints; perform self-inspection of finished parts.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams; manage work orders and data integrity in SAP.
