Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking a skilled Machinist II to fabricate high‑tolerance aerospace components for A220 and A320.

You will operate advanced 3- and 5‑axis CNC mills, multi‑axis lathes, and grinders with minimal supervision on Titanium and other aerospace alloys. The role requires extensive G‑code editing, CAM programming (Catia, Enroute, Gravostyle), and precise inspection using GD&T.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with formal technical/vocational training in machining.
• Experience in aerospace machining and five years of documented CNC/manual machining experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Ability to write, read, and edit G-code and use CAM software (Catia, Enroute, Gravostyle).
• Familiarity with SAP for job tracking and time charging.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, program, and machine on 3- and 5-axis CNC mills, multi-axis lathes, and grinders.
• Work with Titanium, pre-hardened steels, and advanced alloys.
• Inspect parts using precision measurement devices and GD&T.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve production issues.
• Maintain calibration, 5S standards, and safe work area on the shop floor.
