Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Machinist II (Contract) to join the Mobile Manufacturing Team. The role focuses on setting up and operating CNC production equipment and manual machines, producing parts to aerospace specifications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC/manual machining experience, reading GD&T from blueprints, and proficiency with CAM software. This on-site position offers a dynamic aerospace environment with growth opportunities and safety emphasis.

Qualifications

5+ years in a machine/fab shop.
5 years of documented CNC/manual machinist experience.
High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate 3-axis to 5-axis CNC mills, lathes, routers, and manual milling machines.
Read and write G-code using CAM software.
Interpret blueprints and GD&T; produce parts to specifications.
Maintain quality using SPC tools and measurement techniques.
Select tooling, set offsets, and sequence cuts for each job.
Program new parts and create DXF/GNH files; review CAD drawings.
