Job summary

Pryer Aerospace is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II to join its advanced manufacturing team on the production floor. You will set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes to produce precision aerospace components from aluminum, titanium, and high-temperature alloys.

Applicants should read complex drawings, perform in-process inspections, and maintain accurate records while adhering to AS9100, OSHA, and ITAR standards. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with ability to read complex engineered drawings and tolerances.
• Experience reading blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and in-process inspection.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills (and lathes) to machine aerospace components.
• Read and interpret complex drawings and tolerances to determine operations.
• Perform in-process inspections with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.
