Northeast Tool & Manufacturing in Matthews, NC seeks experienced CNC Machinists to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment for aerospace components. Candidates should read blueprints and GD&T, manage tooling and offsets, and perform precise inspections to meet tight tolerances.

Ideal applicants have 3+ years in metal-cutting manufacturing, strong measurement skills, and a commitment to quality and safety. Shift options are available with premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years CNC machining experience in metal-cutting environments.
• Experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machining equipment including tooling selection, offsets, and first-piece inspections.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T while maintaining tight tolerances.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges) and other inspection tools.
• Experience machining complex, close-tolerance components in a precision manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Mansioni

• Operate CNC equipment, including 5-axis mills, mills, multi-axis mill-turns, lathes, and Wire EDM to produce precision metal components.
• Follow blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions to manufacture parts within required dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up and maintain tooling, including tool changes, offsets, recalibration, and monitoring tool wear.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments and digital measurement tools to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor machine performance, identify machining issues or out-of-tolerance conditions, and make adjustments or elevate concerns as needed.
• Perform secondary operations such as deburring, cleaning, tapping, and countersinking.
• Load and unload materials and completed parts from machining centers.
• Complete required production documentation and maintain a clean, organized work area through 5S and preventive maintenance practices.
